Florida Bar Journal Publishes Final Article by Wade Hopping

The October issue of the Florida Bar Journal includes the final published article by Wade Hopping, which he finished shortly before his death in August.

The article is part of a symposium on the 2009 growth management legislation enacted by the Legislature.  Mr. Hopping addressed various issues in the legislation on behalf of his client, the Association of Florida Community Developers.

In the article, he focused on the current effort to find a way to replace transportation concurrency with a new mobility fee that would provide more equity for developers while being usage-sensitive and thus addressing emerging public policies aimed at counteracting climate change.
