Experience

  • Represents clients before the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and United States Environmental Protection Agency on solid and hazardous waste regulatory issues, including but not limited to agency enforcement actions, RCRA permitting, petroleum regulation, solid waste disposal, and the assessment and remediation of contaminated groundwater, surface water, and soils.
  • Represents clients in federal, state, and local administrative and judicial forums on various environmental and administrative law and litigation matters.
  • Represents clients in commercial real estate transaction, including contaminated property transaction, and due diligence investigations.
  • In-depth understanding and working knowledge of federal and Florida environmental statutes, rules, and regulations as well as implementing guidance focused on solid and hazardous waste regulatory matters, real property contamination, site remediation, and storage tank matters.
  • Familiar with Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Waste Management staff, as well as staff from various Florida Department of Environmental Protection District Offices and local programs throughout Florida.
