Experience
- Provides counsel to land owners and developers regarding the use of special taxing districts as a way to finance and manage infrastructure for development.
- Provides counsel for community development districts, addressing contractual, real property, local government, administrative, procurement, and financial issues.
- Experience representing clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts, before the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings, before state and federal agencies, and in mediation proceedings.
- Experience representing clients in a variety of environmental and land use issues, including sovereign submerged lands, coastal construction permitting, endangered species act, brownfields, FLAWAC appeals, water quality, and water resources issues.
- Experience representing clients in commercial litigation disputes.
- Served as a Senior Assistant General Counsel with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection working on the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Basin litigation and Everglades restoration.
- Served as a federal judicial law clerk for the Honorable G. Kendall Sharp, United Stated District Judge.
