NPDES Permitting Short Course
Winston Borkowski moderated the NPDES Permitting short course at the Florida Chamber's 25th Annual Environmental Permitting Summer School held in Marco Island on July 22, 2011. The National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) is a permitting program which regulates the discharge of treated wastewater to waters of the U.S. including Florida surface waters. The NPDES permitting program is authorized by the federal Clean Water Act and implemented by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. In addition to serving as moderator, Mr. Borkowski also presented an update of significant legal decision affecting NPDES permittees.
