Oil and Gas

oilMineral owners and mining companies desiring to explore for or produce minerals face a daunting maze of regulatory requirements over and above the already complicated environmental regulatory programs in place in Florida.  Our firm has the skill and experience to lead such clients through this maze effectively and efficiently.  Our firm’s skills and expertise can also be used to prevent or minimize effects on adjacent properties.

Surveying, exploring for, producing, storing, and transporting oil and gas in the fragile Florida ecosystem is a huge challenge. Despite the obvious difficulties, Florida is the seventeenth largest oil producing state, virtually all of which comes from on-shore facilities.

Our firm has extensive experience in the licensing of such projects, both on-shore and off-shore, at both the state and federal levels. This experience includes not only exploration and production of petroleum, but also the storage and transportation of the produced hydrocarbons in both liquid and gaseous form.

Practicing Attorneys: Richard S. Brightman, Miguel Collazo III, David W. Childs, Carolyn S. Raepple, and Timothy M. Riley.
